AM&P Research Report: Benchmark Study Shows Heavy Revenue Lifting to Come from Digital

Joe will share insights from the recently released AM&P Publishing Benchmark Study based on exciting, comprehensive research conducted in late 2017.

Good news for all: Association publishing revenue is trending up, with digital advertising increasing in revenue significance for associations and the top influencer being digital media. Nearly half of the research study respondents identified digital advertising revenue as the largest growth area for 2018. Furthermore, in the coming year, respondents anticipate launching new products in digital (48 percent), video (33 percent), and mobile-podcasts-social-live events-print (15 percent). According to the study, associations are planning to grow revenue by leveraging more technology (47 percent) and seeking more help and advice from outsourced service providers (21 percent).

The new AM&P is the result of its September 2017 merger with Connectiv-The Business Information Association, formerly ABM; with a new mission to foster innovation and collaboration for the association community.
