digitalNow registration eligibility
Each digitalNow registration is reviewed for approval. digitalNow registration is exclusively open to C-suite leaders of Trade, Professional, and Not-for-Profit Associations, their senior leadership teams and volunteer leaders. Eligible titles include CEO, COO, CFO, CIO, President, Vice President, Board Chair, Executive Director, etc. When one eligible individual from a qualifying organization has registered, members of the senior team from that same organization become eligible as well. This includes Directors of Membership, Communication, IT, etc. Please note, this eligibility only occurs once the C-Level leader has registered and payment has been made.
If you are not sure of your eligibility, please contact Fusion Productions at 585 872 1900 for confirmation, or write to us at digitalNow@fusionproductions.com If you register and it is determined at any time that you do not meet this criteria, then your approval to attend may be revoked. digitalNow and the Fairmont Austin are not liable to reimburse or satisfy any reservation or expenses connected to an inaccurate registration.
Credit card is the preferred method of payment. Your payment information will only be used by Fusion Productions to process your conference registration fee. You will receive an email confirmation and receipt to reflect the transaction.
digitalNow requires the full conference registration amount to be paid prior to the event. digitalNow reserves the right to deny registration from any registrant who has not paid. Registrations can only be confirmed to paid registrants on space available basis, first-come, first-served.
Changes to conference registration
Changes to a conference registration, including substitutions/name changes can be directed to the digitalNow registrar at 585-872-1900. Changes may incur a credit or debit to the credit card that was used in the initial registration. Depending on the type of change, some registrations may need to be cancelled and re-entered to reflect the corrected information.
OTE: Conference registration changes may also require you to contact the Hyatt Orlando to change your room reservation.
Conference registration cancellations, substitutions, and name changes
Conference cancellations must be received in writing by March 10, 2019 via email to email@example.com. A $75 administrative fee will be assessed. Cancellations after March 10, 2019 will not qualify for a refund (no exceptions). We regret that refunds will not be issued after this date. Registrations may be transferred in the event of a cancellation. Transfers are subject to approval from digitalNow. If you plan on sending a substitution in your place, the substitution must be from the same organization. Please notify digitalNow of any substitutions as soon as possible. In the event of a conference cancellation, digitalNow is not liable for transportation, hotel, or other costs incurred by registrants.
NOTE: Conference registration cancellations and/or substitutions may also require you to contact the Fairmont Austin hotel to change your room reservation. digitalNow reserves the right to change the conference/workshop content, timing, speakers or venue without notice. The event may be postponed or cancelled due to acts of terrorism, war, extreme weather conditions, industrial action, less than expected delegates or any event beyond the control of digitalNow. If such a situation arises, digitalNow will endeavor to reschedule the event; however, digitalNow cannot be held responsible for any cost, damage or expenses which may be incurred by the registrant as a consequence of the event being postponed or cancelled. Some registrants consider travel insurance to cover the cost of the registration, travel and expenses for these types of situations. digitalNow is not responsible for any registrant’s personal injury (i.e., physical, psychological, or emotional stress) or property damages while attending a digitalNow conference or event. Conference registrant assumes all risks inherent in attending a digitalNow conference for which the registration covers, whether before, during or after the conference.
Consent to use of photographic images
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, digitalNow and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution of the registrant or attendees’ image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes of such events and activities by digitalNow, Fusion Productions, and other third parties, including but not limited the venue and the host city.
Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
Upon registration, you agree and give us permission to add your name and email to our event program mailing list so that we can keep you apprised of important event announcements. You may unsubscribe from this list at any time.
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.
We comply with the GDPR regulation, which sets out that:
- The personal data must be processed in a fair way. It should be collected for specific purposes only.
- The personal data must be sufficient for those stated purposes and no more
- All collected personal data must be accurate and kept up to date
- The data subject (the user) must be identified only for as long as necessary unless its collected data is kept for historical, statistical or scientific research purposes
- The data controller (the business that collects the data) must ensure its compliance with the GDPR regulation
- The identity and the contact details of the data controller and of the Data Protection Officer (a new requirement set by the GDPR) must be disclosed to users
- Users must be told why their personal data is being collected
- Users must be told how long their data will be kept for
- Users must be notified of their right to request access to the data
- Users have a right to request update or removal of their personal data
- Users’ complaints can be lodged with the supervisory authority
- The contact details of the supervisory authority must be provided
- Users must be told who will receive their collected personal data
- The data controller must specify if they intend to transfer the user’s data out of the EU
- If user’s data is going to be transferred out of the EU, the data controller must specify where the data is going and the level of data protection that country has
- All other information necessary to guarantee fair processing of user’s data must be provided
- Explanation of analytical collection / technology being used on the site.
These changes in the regulation are not significantly different to what’s now required by the current Directive but focus more on small details like disclosing to users the period for which the personal data will be stored and the existence of the right to request access to and update or removal of the collected data.
GDPR also increases the responsibility of the controller of the data, which no longer just includes the original collector. This means that third parties such as cloud providers are now also responsible in the case of a breach.

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the Web page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
